This is a game that I really like. Like the game presented before it, this game too is not recommended to children which are younger than 7. Or, at least this is my opinion. You should present the game to chidren which can understand some physics principles. It is hard to explain to a little girl, even to a little boy, how to generate some power in order to make the light bulbs to light the room.
First of all, let me tell you that you don’t want to skip the tutorial, because it is a complex one, and you can’t move to the second level without using the advice that you receive from the computer. you have some tools that you can use; they are placed in the inventory. The game has a lot of levels, and after you solve them all, you can select what level you want to re-play, but at the beginning, when you have not performed any level at all, you are directed only to the level which is available, which is the level number one.
On the board you have a main power supply and a light bulb. They are placed at a certain distance one from the other. Both of them have a wire attached to them. You will need to find a solution to turn on the light from the light bulb, without moving the power supply, nor the bulb. I don’t know if in the other levels, you will be able to move them. All I am saying now, I am saying after I have played the first level.
So, these are the elements on the board. But I have mentioned something related to inventory. In the first level of the game, you will have a fan and a generator. You know what a generator does right? Well, a seven year old might not know that and also most likely, if you explain him or her the principles used by a generator to work, he or she (it doesn’t matter), will not understand the technique used by a generator to generate power. This is why I mentioned at the beginning of the game that the youngest children won’t get this game.
The solution of the first level of the game is to place the fan directly on the wire that comes from the main power source and to turn it on. Everytime when you move an object from the inventory to the board, you have to turn off the power supply. You must protect yourself from work accidents. If you place the fan directly on the wire, it will function and transmit the impulses towards a certain location. With the help of the generator, you will attract those impulses from the fan, which takes them from the main power supply and transmit them eventually to the light bulb, which will light the room.
